According to the Iranian Printing and Packaging News Agency| the market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 10.9%| according to the “Future of Digital Printing for Packaging to 2030” report published by Smithers Institute. This growth is mainly due to the increasing attractiveness of inkjet technology for large-format printing machines designed for printing carton| corrugated cardboard (Crigate) and flexible packaging.

Digital printing will account for 18.6% of the total graphic printing and packaging/label market by value by 2025.

Major advancements in upstream processes such as order processing| design| proofing and prepress| as well as improvements in the back-end including fulfillment and logistics| are among the factors supporting this growth. Brands and retailers are also increasingly reaping the benefits of digital printing production.

In the industrial and application sector| screen printing is performing strongly| with a compound annual growth rate of 9.6% from 2020 to 2025. The flexibility of the technology and its ability to precisely control the volume of complex liquids make it a popular choice for many industrial applications.
